Wanted: Dog Buddies
&
Brags

Alison and Guage

Dog Buddies is something we thought we would give a try and see how it works. It's a place where our members can seek someone to train with or offer to help those who might be less knowledgeable. So if you are seeking a training partner or group, here's your chance.

Send your info to Liz at editor@southernskiesfcrc.org

Alison S. / Orlando, FL - Looking for training locations and partners for Field work (Have Gauge who is running UKC Started and ready for AKC Junior and Hunter who is getting ready for Started) I love helping other people get started in Field work! I'm willing to help people who want to get started in field work and I would love to learn from people who are more advanced! I'm a pretty good thrower :) Also looking for training buddies in Tracking (I've taken a few lessons, never titled a dog in tracking, at a beginner level) I also do obedience (Gauge getting ready for Open, Hunter getting ready for Novice) contact me at alschult@mail.ucf.edu

John P / Sarasota -
I'm willing to help anyone interested in getting started in competition obedience. I have access to facility and all equipment. I also have two dogs I'd like to put WC or JH on. I don't have a clue how to go about it, but do have forced retrieves on both dogs (both are currently working on Utility). email me at john@sarasota-retrievers.com

Brags!

Yes it is. That's the same cute puppy on our front page, Salasana Steeple Ashton We got this from Katy Postrozny. a couple of days ago.

"Here is our youngest addition to our family. "Rowan" is a liver flatcoat male from Finland and a half brother to our Lucy. We are very excited about this puppy and look forward to having a grand time with him as he matures. Lucy must think I brought this new puppy home just for HER! She won't stray but a few steps away from him at any time."

Also new on the "scene" is this really cute guy. This is Rob Bitler's "Dino".

This is a photo of Dino at his first field training day at 13 weeks of age. It's no wonder we love this breed :)

It's been a good summer for Rob, he's got even more good news.
Here are pictures from the July 3-4 Palmetto shows of Phoenix Snow Mischief, Loki. Loki took both majors (his first two majors ever), the same weekend that Katy Postrozny's Lucy finished her championship.
